Pandering in the Heartland doesn't seem to work. Attempting to hijack votes whilst hitchhiking with a gun and hunting jacket is an interesting but insulting and fruitless approach.
It's noteworthy that the donkey is hitchhiking from the right. If he goes to the center of most roads, he'll get flattened. One can't help but wonder why he didn't work from his favorite left side of the road. A dilemma!
